Really? - Click to view Larger...Our Favorite Movie Posters #103: ILSA, click She Wolf of the SS (1975) - Ilsa is Kommandant of a Nazi prison camp, mind who conducts sadistic scientific experiments designed to demonstrate that women are more capable of enduring pain than men are, and therefore should be allowed to fight in the army.

Ilsa is also a busty Nazi woman with a incredible sexual appetite. Each night, she chooses another one of her male prisoners and uses him sexually, becoming disappointed when her "beau" eventually ejaculates, and she promptly has him castrated and put to death. However, one American prisoner, who can withhold ejaculating, manages to use his abilities in his favor.

Ilsa is played by Dyanne Thorne, a buxom blonde who had starred in other grindhouse/sexploitation films in the 50s, 60s, and 70s.

Sharon Kelly (also known as Colleen Brennan) appears in an uncredited role as an unfortunate subject of one of Ilsa's experiments.

Although the Ilsa character was killed at the end of the film, there were three sequels that followed. Ilsa, Harem Keeper of the Oil Sheiks, Ilsa, the Tigress of Siberia, and Ilsa, the Wicked Warden. (Yes, there was just that much demand for this type of content back in the 70s.)

Thorne married Howard Maurer in 1974. As of late June of 2014, both were reportedly ordained ministers, who owned an alternative wedding business in Las Vegas, Nevada. They conducted scenic outdoor weddings as an alternative to a traditional wedding chapel. (No word on whether a special "Ilsa" wedding ceremony package is available.)

Fun Fact: Ilsa, She Wolf of the SS was filmed on the same sets as the 60's comedy television series, "Hogan's Heroes." The series had been cancelled and the show's producers let the film be made on it once they learned that a scene called for it to be burned down, saving them the cost of having it demolished.
