Click to View Larger... Click to View Larger...The Amazing Transplant (1970) - Arthur (Juan Fernandez) visits Mary (Sandy Eden) to profess his love and propose to her. But when he notices her earrings, he begins to rape her and winds up choking her to death. His mother (Linda Southern) is worried and asks her police detective brother-in-law Bill (Larry Hunter) to help find him. Meanwhile, Mary has been found dead, the police suspect Arthur and the radio informs the public about the apparent murder.

In the course of his investigation, Bill finds several women who tell of Arthur's surprising rapes (since he seems an otherwise pleasant guy) while they are graphically shown in flashbacks. Each one has a different character: One is a violent rape scene, one victim (a highschool acquaintance) turns the rape into lovemaking, another (lesbian) victim is so repelled that she vomits afterwards.

Only the viewer gets to see the connection however, the glistening earrings each victim wears, and which set Arthur off. The story finally is explained to Bill by Dr. Meade (Bernard Marcel) who a couple of months ago performed a penis transplant on Arthur which may have also transplanted the former womanizing owner's fondness of golden earrings... Sound weird enough yet?

This movie was directed by Doris Wishman, who was an early female pioneer in the smut movie trade. She also made many b-movie sexploitation movies of this type.

We normally try to show a trailer to go with our posters, but the trailer for this beast has PLENTY of nudity, but it is available on YouTube, so we will link to it here. But be warned. BOOBIES!

Click to View Larger... Click to View Larger...Our Favorite Movie Posters #98: The Playmates - In Deep Vision 3-D: A sex researcher making a documentary about swingers can't find sex or love in her own life.

From the "My Duck is Dead" website:

This movie was originally shot in 1973 using the Deep Vision 3D process. The film was finally shown in 1975 and 1976 in different cuts. Some were for drive ins and some were more explicit. While this never was a hardcore flick, it gets close to it at some points. This movie was shot off and on when money came in, so it feels a bit jumbled at times.

Overall this movie is definitely worth checking out because of it's rarity and cast of classic porn stars from L.A. in the 1970s. It's a little weird because some scenes are in faded 3D and some are 2D (perhaps because of lack of budget).

It looks as if "My Duck is Dead" has links to downloads of The Playmates, but as always, we'll warn you that such downloading may be frowned upon by both local and federal authorities, but they're probably all too bust spying on your neighbors to notice what you're doing. Right?

One nice thing about the movie is it looks to feature one of our favorites here at BBDI - Rene Bond. We need to do a "Big Bad Mama's" feature on Rene soon. If we can find any photos of her with her clothes on. Well, besides this one:

Rene BondRene Bond

I've never been comfortable with 3-D porn. For one thing, my neck gets sore from ducking all the time, and if everyone in the theater didn't already look seedy enough, the 3-D glasses kind of clinched it.

"The Playmates - In Deep Vision 3-D" is available on DVD if you want to stick to viewing it at home. The seats and floors are probably cleaner there anyway. Well, most of your homes...

Good thing she's a vegetarian...

After her mother's mysterious death, Abby Arcane (Heather Locklear) travels to the Florida swamps to confront her evil stepfather Dr. Arcane (Louis Jourdan), who had been resurrected with a ludicrous explanation after his death in the first film. In an attempt to stave off the effects of aging, Dr. Arcane, assisted by Dr. Lana Zurrell (Sarah Douglas), combines genes from various swamp animals and human beings, creating an army of monsters. Dr. Arcane tries to use his stepdaughter Abby in his genetic experiments until she is rescued by Swamp Thing (Dick Durock), a scientist previously transformed into a bog creature after a confrontation with the evil doctor, and a conscience-stricken Dr. Zurrell.

Tagline: This airline serves three wild dishes. Take your choice: 'I'm Toby, fly me as far as you want.' 'I'm Sherry, buy a ticket and I come free!' 'I'm Andrea, my foreign lay-overs are very stimulating."

That isn't exactly left to right on the poster, but you can figure our who is who.
