Waste not Want Not

Roger Corman was notorious for cranking out his movies as fast and as cheap as possible. When you make 'em cheap they don't have to make much at the box office to show a profit.

Some of Corman's thrifty moves were to recycle movie footage from previous productions into whichever production was currently moving down the assembly line. if you look closely you can see footage from Big Bad Mama being used in Big Bad Mama II. Hint, if something crashes, it might be a rerun.

Corman also came up with an ingenious method of cutting expenses for vehicles used in his production, paint a car a different color on each side, then you could show it as two cars by filming it with different camera angles.

Didn't I Know You Back When...

Corman has employed many academy award nominated and winning actors and directors, albeit early in their careers when they'd work cheap. Francis Ford Coppola, Jack Nicholson, Diane Ladd, and Martin Scorcese are just a few who have toiled in Corman's factory early in their careers.

Julie McCullough

julie_m julie_mJulie plays the doll and dynamite toting youngest daughter of "Mama", Polly. Julie had 2 nude scenes and one love making scene in the movie, which was greatly appreciated by all the fans of her previous exposure in Playboy magazine as the Playboy Playmate of the Month for February 1986.

Julie appeared on the popular television series "Growing Pains" as the girlfriend of the Mike Seaver character played by Kirk Cameron. Cameron, upon receiving religion, and thus the ability to mercilessly judge others, demanded she be removed from the show, because of her previous skintastic exposure in Playboy and BBMII.

In 1989, officials of North Carolina's Azalea Festival stripped Julie McCullough of her crown as Azalea Queen of Wilmington, because of controversy surrounding her appearance as a Playboy centerfold.

In 2004, McCullough voiced herself as a tutorial guide in the video game Playboy: The Mansion.

She now now works as a stand-up comedian, and has performed at various comedy clubs and venues around the country.

She is also an avid user of Twitter, and acts as an unofficial ambassador for Playboy Enterprises.

Danielle Brisebois

Danielle plays the oldest daughter, the machine-gun toting, boy crazy Billie Jean. Danielle had only one nude scene, but it was enough to see that Archie Bunker's little girl had certainly grown up nice.

Danielle began her career early, performing in her first movie at the age of seven. She appeared on Broadway in the original production of "Annie" as one of the orphans.

She appeared on "All in the Family" and "Archie Bunkers Place" in the early 80s.

She has gone on to a musical career as both a singer and songwriter.
