The Dirty Mind of Young Sally is a drive-in/grindhouse classic starring skin-baring favorite of the site Sharon Kelly AKA Colleen Brennan. 

Buxom redheaded "Dirty" Sally McGuire is a pirate radio host who operates from her van-based broadcasting station where she uses her sultry voice to encourage her listeners to "ball" to the music she's playing. She catches hell from the local cops when she has sex live on-air with her technician Toby, and later with a competition winner. The rest of the movie is a jumble of chase scenes and sex scenes, with plenty of skin from Ms. Kelly and the rest of the female cast, as the cops try to find Sally and shut her down.

Much of the sex comes close to a soft X rating, but this B-comedy ran repeatedly at drive-in theaters across the land in the early to mid 1970s.

"Sally" is one of a number of R-rated potboilers Ms. Kelly starred in during the 1970s, before going on to have a very successful career in X-rated adult features and loops. 

According to IMDB, "Sally" is the film debut of Sharon Kelly/Colleen Brennan. She was discovered dancing at the Classic Cat topless club on the Sunset Strip and had no formal training as an actress prior to starring in this movie.

While the delightful redhead showed definite beginner lack of acting chops in her early films, she still displays a delightful and attractive personality in the role of Sally. By the time she made the move to adult features, she was known as one of the better actors in the X-rated film industry.

As Colleen Brennan, she is a member of the XRCO Hall of Fame, and she won more awards in acting categories than any other female performer of her era.

She also made appearances in Russ Meyer's Supervixens (1975) and the Women in prison films Ilsa, She Wolf of the SS (1975) and its first sequel Ilsa, Harem Keeper of the Oil Sheiks (1976). In 1974 she appeared in an uncredited role as a stripper in the film Foxy Brown.

In 1975, she had topless cameo appearances in the mainstream films Hustle and Shampoo.

As Colleen Brennan she had an extensive career in hardcore films, including several installments of the Taboo series. Colleen won two AVN Awards in 1987.

The Dirty Mind of Young Sally is available as half of a DVD Double Feature from Something Weird Video. THe other movie on that DVD Twin-Bill is "Teenage Bride," also starring Sharon Kelly. While porn actress Cyndee Summers stars in the title role of that pot-boiler, Ms. Kelly still has some great scenes in the flick.

The last time we checked Amazon.com, they did have "Sally/Bride" in stock, however it was for the bargain basement price of $125, so we really can't suggest you buy it there, although you might check the link from time to time to see if the price has dropped. (We found our copy at a used bookstore for around 10 bucks, we suggest you look in similar venues if interested in buying a copy.)
